ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR
Each year, beginning in 2007, our Chapter honors our
“Entrepreneur of the Year” at our Annual Luncheon. On December 8th,
2011, at the Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach, Florida, Dr. Stacey
Nelson received the award for 2011. Following is some information on this
year’s honoree:
Dr. Stacey Nelson, a Family Therapist, Motivational
Trainer, and Consultant, is also very much an animal lover. And from her
loving concern for her Yellow Labrador Retriever, Tweedle the winning
business
www.tweedlepetproducts.com was born. It seems that Tweedle was
discovered to have food allergies, just as humans do, and with much
patience, hard work, and trial and error, Dr. Nelson developed dog food
formulas that returned her precious pet to good health. Her recipes use no
wheat, soy, corn, added salt and sugar, are Gluten free, and contain no
animal byproducts or hormones. Beginning with delicious dog treats for
Tweedle, Dr. Nelson soon discovered significant demand for her products and
has now expanded her offerings to include a wide variety of
safe and healthy foods and snacks
for cats and birds. And yes, even humans! Her products are gaining rapid
acceptance and can be found in many Whole Foods markets, and direct from the
website. Laboratory certified, purchasers can be assured they are
buying safe, nutritious products for their precious pets. In the near
future Dr. Nelson plans to open a “Tweedle” bakery and boutique for all
those pets (and humans!) in need.
